OSHA 10 Hr. General Industry

Our OSHA 10-Hour General Industry training program has been carefully crafted to provide students with real world application of the standards and guidelines set forth by OSHA. This program is not designed as a standard “safety training” but rather an interactive training that teaches students to recognize hazards in their workplace and correct them in the most effective way possible.

Course Content:

  1. Introduction to OSHA & other Regulations.
  2. Defining risk and the basics of protecting employees from hazards.
  3. Hazards associated with Walking and working surfaces.
  4. Emergency Response Plans: Exit routes, emergency action plans, fire prevention, and fire protection.
  5. Hazards associated with electrical equipment.
  6. Proper selection and use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
  7. Chemical hazards and Hazard Communication
  8. Machine guarding hazards.
  9. Bloodborne pathogens & proper ways to prevent exposure and clean up bio-waste.
  10. Developing effective employee health & safety (EHS) programs.
  11. Fall Protection hazards and how to properly protect employees at heights.

Course Length: 10 Hours

Who Needs This Class:
The OSHA 10-hour General Industry course is designed with entry-level workers in mind, the training caters to individuals engaged in general industry work. Additionally, certain employers, unions, states, and jurisdictions mandate OSHA 10, OSHA considers this training program a voluntary initiative. This class is not officially required for federal compliance, however many local/state governments, contracting companies and other industries have required it to work for each of their own organizations.

OSHA 30 Hr. General Industry

Our OSHA 30-Hour General Industry training program has been carefully crafted to provide supervisors and managers with real world application of the standards and guidelines set forth by OSHA. This program is a more in-depth course from the OSHA 10 hour class and is designed to aid supervisors, managers, and foreman to properly manage the health and safety program for their organization while also continually assessing potential hazards that need to be corrected before an incident occurs. Thise class is an interactive training that focuses on “how” rather than “what”.

Course Content:

  1. Introduction to OSHA & other Regulations.

This class is not officially required for federal compliance, however many local/state governments, contracting companies and other industries have required it for upper management to work for each of their own organizations.

Our OSHA 10-Hour Construction training program has been carefully crafted to provide students with real world application of the standards and guidelines set forth by OSHA’s 1926 construction standards. This program is not designed as a standard “safety training” but rather an interactive training that teaches students to recognize hazards in their workplace and correct them in the most effective way possible.

Course Content:

  1. Introduction to OSHA & other Regulations.
  2. OSHA’s Focus Four Hazards
    1. Fall protection
    2. Electrical hazards
    3. Struck-by
    4. Caught-in/between
  3. Health hazards in contruction
  4. Materials handling
    1. Cranes, derricks, hoists, etc
  5. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
  6. Hand & power tools
