BIOGRAPHY:

Roy Buck is one of the senior trainers at CSC. He is a life-long Casper, Wyoming native, and enjoys all the amazing outdoor opportunities our beautiful state has to offer. He is an avid mountain biker, road cyclist, Nordic skier, snow-shoer, hiker, and amateur photographer. He retired from the Casper Fire Department as a Fire Captain in 2013 following an exciting 27-year career. The fire service offered the chance to explore every facet of the emergency response world. Roy loves to learn everything about everything and through his fire career as an Advanced EMT, Hazmat Technician, and Technical Rescue Specialist developing policies and procedures for structural, confined space, high-angle, swiftwater, ice, and dive rescue emergencies. As the experience grew, he also found a passion for instruction, developing numerous practical, classroom, and web-based courses taught through the CFD, State of Wyoming, and Casper College. Working for CS Consulting is a great opportunity to put 35 years of safety and training experience to good use. Every day offers something new, and Roy’s goal is to learn at least one new thing every day!
